Day 1 (World Tourism Day)

Day 2: Inaugural Day, Friday, September 28, 2012
09.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m.: Musical Welcome of IYPF 2012 delegates
10.00 a.m.-11.00 a.m.: IYPF-2012 Inaugural session on ‘Volunteering to promote Respect of others’ (Focus areas: Cross-cultural understanding, Inter-generational dialogue, Social identities and Intra-cultural exclusions)
11.00 a.m.-11.30 a.m.: Fresh ‘n’ up-Tea Break
11.30 a.m. – 12.15 p.m.: Session I on Climate Change & Youth Activism (with special focus on Promoting renewable energy sources & alternatives, Planting trees, Protecting forests, Water conservation & management)
12.15 p.m. – 01.00 p.m.: Session II on Combating inequalities (with focus on Gender diversity, Racial discrimination, Food security & livelihood)
01.00 p.m.- 02.00 p.m.: Lunch break
02.00 p.m. – 05.00 p.m.: Activity 1: Group sessions: Issue sharing
(Participants will be divided in group to identify the issues on the sessions conducted earlier today both at global and their respective local or community level. Basic purpose of this is sharing of issues to have more clarity of problems in this global village. Participants need to use the poster to put together the layout of variety of issues and to refer it in the next group activity on day four which will co-relate to the same.)
02.00 p.m.-05.00 p.m.:Activity 2 – Training of Youth Peace Volunteers (50 youngsters from different nationalities will be trained in promoting the spirit of nonviolence and service in their respective countries through formation of Peace Clubs).
05.00 p.m.-06.00 p.m.: Fresh ‘n’ up Break
06.00 p.m.-8.00 p.m.: Multi-cultural Panorama (an evening of music & dance)

Day 3: Saturday, September 29, 2012
10.00 a.m.-03.00 p.m.: Activity 1- IYPF 2012 delegates to visit local Schools & Colleges for one to one dialogue, creative workshops and interactions on special themes like ‘Visa Free India-Pakistan’, ‘Indo-China Friendship’, ‘Magic of Volunteering’, ‘Less is more’, ‘Vegetarianism is Good’ etc.
09.30 a.m.-03.00 p.m.: Activity 2 – Training of Youth Peace Volunteers to continue…
03.30 p.m.-5.00 p.m.: ‘Stand for Peace’ (A Peace Parade)
05.30 p.m.-07.30 p.m.: An evening of ‘Rock for Peace’
08.00 p.m. – Dinner at respective places of stay.

Group 1: Promoting renewable energy sources & alternatives

11.30 a.m. – 12.00 Noon: Tea break
12.00 p.m. -01.00 p.m.: Topic addressed – Respect of others

02.00 p.m.– 3.00 p.m. : Group activity: Enhancing Ideology into action
(Participants again have to join the same second day activity groups to analyze issues learned in various sessions and issue sharing activity held earlier to come up with a Project idea’s on the allotted theme in the form of poster. Basic purpose of this is to prepare young minds for setting action plans. Participants have to give 5 minutes presentation in any form on next day in morning sessions of Sharing of best ideas and practices.)
